Job Description
The Fire Alarm Installation Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems in commercial and industrial buildings. This role involves interpreting blueprints and technical diagrams, running wiring, mounting devices, and ensuring systems comply with local and national fire codes. Technicians work closely with project managers, electricians, and safety inspectors to ensure timely and accurate installations. They may also conduct system testing, troubleshoot issues, and provide customer support and training on system operation.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems in commercial and industrial settings.Interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installations.Run wiring and mount devices to comply with fire codes.Collaborate with project managers, electricians, and safety inspectors.Conduct system testing and troubleshoot issues as needed.Provide customer support and training on system operations.Essential Skills
2-5 years of direct experience installing fire alarm and life safety systems.Experience in wiring and schematic interpretation.Proficiency with fire alarm systems and installations.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years' experience as a commercial electrician.NICET Certification is highly preferred but not required.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr.
