**Job Title: Finishing Technician** Job Description As a Finishing Technician, you will play a crucial role in the final stage of trailer construction before they are shipped. You will receive trailers from the paint department and will be responsible for adding all necessary parts to complete the trailer, such as wiring, hydraulic lines, decals, and axle assembly. This role does not require prior experience in electrical wiring or hydraulic line hookup. Responsibilities + Install brake lines and wiring components based on a kit assembly list. + Screw in axles onto the base of the trailer using basic hand and power tools. + Apply decals and reflectors onto the trailers. + Maintain cleanliness of the work station. + Work as part of a two-person team to complete trailer finishing. + Run airlines, rubber hoses, and install electrical wiring, lights, stickers, and decals. + Remove and clean hubs, replace slacks, chambers, brake shoes, and install new bearings and bushings. Essential Skills + Proficiency with hand and power tools. + Ability to lift 50+ pounds consistently. + Job tenure of 1-2 years in a related field. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with electrical wiring. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Experience or knowledge in welding, particularly spot welding. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bridgman, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
