**Job Title: Finishing - Sanding** **Job Description** Join our dedicated team as a Finishing - Sanding specialist, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the high-quality finish of our products through expert sanding techniques. **Responsibilities** + Hand sanding tread, risers, flooring, hand-rail, and newel. + Maintain sanding schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks. + Print labels and pull the correct product for each order. + Understand and operate a wide-belt sander efficiently. + Operate an opti-sander for final sanding of products. + Identify and correct defects when possible. + Perform initial scanning of products to ensure quality control. + Clean work stations at the end of the day to maintain a tidy workspace. + Perform manual labor relevant to the specific department, such as pushing and pulling carts with products. **Essential Skills** + Prior experience hand sanding with an orbital sander. + Experience with a wide-belt sander is preferred. + Good problem-solving skills. + Effective communication skills. + Ability to work as part of a team and independently. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Computer literacy. + Conscientious, hardworking, and detail-oriented. + Positive attitude and respect for others. + Consistent attendance and punctuality. + Appreciation for a respectful work environment. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including excellent dental, vision, and health insurance, HSA contributions, life insurance, and retirement plans.
