**Job Title: Finishing Operator** Job Description We are seeking a skilled Finishing Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will operate production machinery to produce parts that meet established specifications and tolerances, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety. Responsibilities + Operate production machinery in accordance with company standards. + Perform make-ready, adjustments, and run jobs efficiently to meet safety and productivity standards. + Produce the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances. + Review job tickets prior to running orders. + Measure finished parts with precision tools to ensure compliance with specifications. + Maintain logs and records of units produced, including errors resulting in rejected pieces. + Inspect equipment prior to use for proper setup and alignment; perform basic adjustments and maintenance. + Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area. + Ensure appropriate contact relief and machine hand-off during shift changes. + Lead the crew, overseeing operator assistants, feeders, packers, and inspectors. Essential Skills + Proficiency in machine operation and setup. + Ability to inspect parts and perform data entry. + Mechanical aptitude and experience with production lines. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Portland, Oregon. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $51771.20/yr.
