Finishing Inspector
**Now Hiring Finishing Inspector in Emigsville,PA** First Shift Opportunity, 4 10-hour Days Pay: $20/hr **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Finishing Inspector to join our team on the 1st shift from 5 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, with some Fridays required. As a Finishing Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of laminated vinyl products by operating inspection machinery and documenting any defects or inconsistencies. This role involves maintaining accurate inventory records and packaging finished goods to meet job specifications and customer requirements. **Responsibilities** + Operate the inspection machine to review laminated vinyl for defects, inconsistencies, or deviations from job specifications. + Identify and document product defects, reporting quality concerns to the department manager. + Perform Syteline-related transactions to maintain accurate inventory records and ensure system data integrity. + Package inspected finished goods according to job specifications and customer requirements. + Assist material handler in loading master rolls on the inspection machine. + Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, following safety and housekeeping guidelines. + Work in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to company policies, SOPs, and safety regulations. + Perform all other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of machine operating experience in a manufacturing facility. + Ability to work in a team setting. + Forklift operating skills. + Ability to use hand tools and complete changeovers. + Proficiency with tape measure, slitter, printing, and quality inspection. + Mechanically inclined. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School Diploma or GED. + Prior experience in manufacturing or quality inspection preferred. + Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects. + Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. + Capable of performing all tasks in the department and ability to train others. + Good math skills and ability to use tape measure accurately. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a supportive work environment with coffee and water coolers available.
