In this role, you will produce high-quality prototype models that meet company standards using a variety of hand tools, utilizing customer files to view part details, and following instructions on work orders.
ResponsibilitiesDetail parts through part break out, removing support structures, sanding, and detailing model surfaces.Review files of each part assigned and follow work order instructions.Touch up parts if needed before turning in finished work.Perform basic operations of a tumbler, bead blaster, and wet blaster.Use a variety of basic electric and hand tools.Essential Skills1+ year of experience within manufacturing OR a High School Diploma with a specific career interest in manufacturing.Basic computer skills.Ability to lift 50 pounds.Ability to stand for up to 8 hours a day.Positive attitude and desire to learn.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in manufacturing or machine operation.Experience with hand tools.Experience working in an AS9100 environment.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work the first shift, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, with some flexibility required on an as-needed basis. Enjoy working in a well-ventilated and air-conditioned manufacturing environment. The finishing shop involves some hands-on work, such as sifting through a powdery substance, but the ventilation keeps the area clear and clean. Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Belton, Texas.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
