**Job Title: Carpentry Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Technician with expertise in both commercial finish and rough carpentry. The ideal candidate should be proficient in casing, trim work, window jamb extensions, and door lock set installations. You will be working on various projects across Ames, Huxley, Ankeny, and the Des Moines metro area, with a significant number of projects at ISU this summer. **Responsibilities** + Perform rough and finish carpentry tasks as required by the superintendent. + Conduct general carpentry tasks, including casing, trim work, and window jamb extensions. + Install door lock sets with precision and accuracy. + Work collaboratively on commercial construction sites, executing both framing and trim carpentry duties. **Essential Skills** + At least 2 years of experience in commercial carpentry. + Proficiency in rough and finish carpentry. + Skilled in trim work, casing, and window installation. + Experience with metal stud framing and drywall. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in commercial construction is a plus. + Capability to perform general tasks as directed by the superintendent. **Why Work Here?** We offer competitive pay, PTO, 401K, and health insurance, ensuring you are home at night.
