Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Finish Carpenter to join our growing team. You will be responsible for a variety of construction-related tasks, including hanging and finishing drywall, installing and adjusting doors, windows, and hardware, performing light electrical and plumbing duties, and completing various repair tasks. Responsibilities

Hang and finish drywall, including performing necessary repairs.Install and adjust doors, windows, and hardware.Perform light electrical tasks such as changing light fixtures.Execute light plumbing duties, such as fixing leaks.Frame and install drywall.Clean up paint and caulking.Complete various repairs, including fixing sliding glass doors and kitchen drawers.Carry out punch list duties for construction projects.

Essential Skills

A minimum of 3 years of construction experience.Proficiency in carpentry.Experience with drywall finishing and hanging.Knowledge of framing, hand tools, installation, commercial construction, rough carpentry, doors, metal stud work, and finish carpentry.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with finishing duties such as installing doors and windows and adjusting cabinets.Experience with commercial construction is a plus.Basic 'handyman' skills such as light electrical, plumbing, painting, drywall, and framing are advantageous.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position, typically working Monday through Friday for 40 hours a week, with overtime not being common. Projects are primarily located in the greater Nashville area, with some possibilities for travel to Huntsville and Memphis. While travel is not frequent, candidates should be open to it. When traveling, you will receive a per diem, mileage reimbursement, and accommodations. Safety is a priority, so steel toe boots are required, and all other personal protective equipment will be provided. You must have your own reliable transportation and a set of basic hand and power tools.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
