**Job Title: Finish Carpenter** Job Description As a Finish Carpenter, you will be responsible for installing cabinets, doors, and door hardware, as well as working with fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP), vinyl wall protection, wood blocking, and plywood sheathing. Your expertise in finish carpentry, door installation, trim, and cabinet blocking will ensure high-quality craftsmanship. Responsibilities + Install cabinets, doors, and door hardware. + Work with fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) and vinyl wall protection. + Perform wood blocking and plywood sheathing. + Apply finish carpentry techniques to deliver high-quality results. + Conduct door installations and trim work. Essential Skills + Experience in construction and carpentry. + Proficiency in framing and finish carpentry. + Ability to use hand tools effectively. + Experience in commercial construction. + Skills in door installation, cabinetry, and trim work. Additional Skills & Qualifications + At least 1 year of carpentry experience. + At least 1 year of experience in finish carpentry. + Experience in commercial construction environments. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work takes place at construction sites in Columbus and Central Ohio. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday with 8-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Overtime is rare, except for some specific projects. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, Ohio. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
