**Finish Carpenter** **Job Description** As a finish carpenter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality finishes on interior and exterior surfaces for small to mid-sized commercial projects. You'll work in teams of 3–10 and adapt to non-climate-controlled environments, applying your skills in construction and finishing techniques. Ideal candidates possess over 3 years of experience, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and have proficiency with hand and power tools, as well as knowledge of safety protocols including OSHA standards. **Responsibilities** + Clean, sand, patch, and prime surfaces to ensure proper paint adhesion and a smooth finish. + Utilize brushing, rolling, and spraying techniques for both interior and exterior surfaces. + Mix paints to achieve precise colors and finishes, including matte, gloss, and textured coatings. + Patch holes, smooth seams, and prepare drywall for paint. + Apply primers, sealers, epoxies, and specialty coatings used in commercial construction. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of experience in construction and finishing techniques. + Proficiency in using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment. + Knowledge of safety protocols including OSHA standards. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Familiarity with primers, sealers, epoxies, and specialty coatings. + Experience with hand tools and power tools. + Ability to work on small to mid-sized commercial projects. **Why Work Here** Enjoy a comprehensive benefits package fully covered by the company after five months, ensuring your well-being and security. **Work Environment** Work on small to mid-sized commercial projects with teams ranging from 3-10 employees. The schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7am to 3:30pm, with contractors likely working 42-43 hours a week. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lenexa, Kansas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $35.00/hr.
