**Job Title: Finish Carpenter** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled and experienced Finish Carpenter with a strong skill set in concrete finishing and form carpentry, ideally in a commercial setting. The ideal candidate will have proficiency with hand and power tools and the ability to work during normal construction shift hours. This role requires physical stamina and the capability to work in various outdoor conditions. **Responsibilities** + Grade, set up, pour, and finish concrete surfaces including floors, sidewalks, curbs, and stairs. + Grade to proper elevations using skid steers, shovels, and rakes, checking heights with lasers and string lines. + Construct wooden forms and position them correctly to hold concrete at the required depth. + Install expansion joints, rebar, and wire mesh as per job specifications. + Monitor site conditions, ground temperature, air temperature, and humidity levels, making necessary adjustments to mix designs for proper set times. + Spread and level concrete using rakes, shovels, hand or power trowels, hand or power screeds, and floats. + Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures into poured concrete before it hardens. + Finish surfaces to produce the final product as per job specifications using brooms, hand tools, power trowels, and riding trowels. **Essential Skills** + Previous experience as a concrete finisher/form carpenter, ideally in a commercial setting. + Proficiency with hand and power tools, including tape measure, hand trowel, straight edge, and nail gun. + Ability to stand for several hours per day, bend, kneel, and lift up to 75 lbs bags of concrete as needed. + Comfortable using ladders and wearing all proper PPE and safety equipment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in concrete finishing, concrete pouring, rough carpentry, and masonry. + Supervisory skills in a commercial construction setting. + ACI Certification is a plus. **Why Work Here?** We are a family-owned and operated company known for our commitment to employee wellbeing and cutting-edge technology. You will work around machinery, equipment, and loud noise, and you must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions year-round. Interaction with other sub-contractors and awareness of surroundings is essential. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Export, Pennsylvania. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
