Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Financial Supervisor to manage and lead our Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) billing team, consisting of eight members. This role is pivotal in providing first-line support for team inquiries, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures, and monitoring key performance indicators for AP and AR functions. The position also involves completing monthly reporting packages, overseeing credit card expense reporting, and performing ad hoc duties as required.

ResponsibilitiesManage a team of eight in the AP and AR/billing departments.Serve as the first line of support for team questions and issues.Ensure the team adheres to company policies and procedures.Monitor and report on AP/AR key performance indicators.Complete monthly financial reporting packages.Monitor and manage credit card expense reporting.Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.Essential SkillsStrong experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting.Supervisory experience in a financial setting.Proficiency in Excel, particularly with pre-built vlookups and pivot tables.Motivation to add value and optimize processes.Experience with reconciliation and government contracts.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.Experience with Unanet ERP.Background in government contracting highly preferred.Experience with GAAP accrual-based accounting.Experience in account reconciliations and month-end close management.Experience in standardizing and optimizing accounting processes.Work Environment

This position is based fully onsite, with standard hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM or 9 AM to 5 PM. There is some flexibility on start and end times once the worker has proven their reliability. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $39.00 - $46.00/hr.
