**What You’ll Be Doing**
As a Financial Planning Associate, you will support a team of Wealth Strategists (WS) in establishing and maintaining strong client relationships by assisting their daily business. You’ll work closely with Wealth Strategists (WS) to help with effective delivery/acquisition/renewal of products, regular administrative duties, and services to their portfolio clients. You will also perform other general administrative tasks such as reviewing WS's incoming mail and telephone/voicemail calls for appointment/log book maintenance for safeguarding of office, files and records. Work with all levels of personnel internal and external to CIBC to arrange appointments, obtain or exchange information, promote the program or unit’s activities, and expedite action on behalf of the manager and/or individual contributors.

**How You’ll Succeed**
+ **Operational Support -** You will assist WSs with their portfolio. You will review customer documentation and maintaining compliance with CIBC bank policies, procedures and guidelines. You will assist the WSs in organizing sales activities, marketing materials, meetings, presentations, etc.
+ **Service Focus -** Provide high quality service by completing all tasks quickly, accurately and effectively. Enable team success by improving team productivity, proactively uncovering opportunities. Ability to communicate in **French** is an asset.
+ **Client Engagement** - Focus on each client experience and connect on a personal level to make every interaction meaningful. Anticipate client needs and communicate promptly with your team to build trust and deepen client relationships. Identify activities, processes and opportunities to improve the client experience.

+ **You can demonstrate** organizational and administrative skills (e.g capable of setting and meeting realistic time frames for completing assignments and achieving results; capable of operating independently with minimal direction while keeping the manager informed of potential problems or sensitive issues, etc.).

Your interactions will sometimes require tact, diplomacy and discretion.
+ **You understand that success is in the details.** You notice things that others don't. Your critical thinking skills help to inform your decision making. You can focus your attention when taking notes, typing documents, financial data entry, etc.

+ **You're fluent in French and English** to serve our clients in the community.
