Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Sales Commission Analyst to manage the monthly commission accrual and payout processes. This role is ideal for a professional who values consistency, precision, and long-term stability over fast-paced career progression. The analyst will ensure timely, accurate, and compliant execution of commission calculations and reporting, supporting both Finance and Sales leadership with critical data and insights.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Commission Accruals & Reporting

Consolidate data from multiple systems to generate monthly accrual reports. Load, validate, and maintain accrual models in coordination with the Accounting team. Analyze month-over-month variances and identify key drivers or anomalies.

 

Commission Payouts

Accurately calculate monthly sales commission payouts based on established plans and performance data. Validate payouts for accuracy and policy compliance. Generate and distribute commission statements using automated tools.

 

Data Analysis & Support

Provide ad-hoc financial and operational analysis to Finance and Sales leadership. Support executive-level reporting and presentations (ELT and Sales leadership). Maintain detailed process documentation and ensure data integrity across systems and models.

 

Skills & Qualifications:

Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and macro automation. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Customer Engagement and Finance & Operations). Strong understanding of accrual accounting, financial reporting, and variance analysis. Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and data validation expertise. Clear written and verbal communication skills with a professional approach to escalating issues. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Self-motivated, analytical mindset; comfortable with routine tasks and long-term process ownership.

 

Experience:

2-3 years of Accounting/Finance experience
