Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

Acting as a crucial partner to senior management, the FP& A Manager will deliver key financial insights, forecasts, and analytics for operational efficiency and sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities + Lead and coordinate annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term planning processes. + Deliver comprehensive financial analysis, variance reports, and performance metrics to support business and program leaders. + Collaborate with operations, contracts, and program teams to ensure accurate financial tracking and adherence to relevant regulations. + Develop and maintain advanced financial models for pricing strategies and cost analysis. + Prepare and present financial outcomes, trends, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership. + Support internal and external audits to ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and policies. + Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial planning and reporting. + Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that financial reporting aligns with business execution and contractual requirements. + Submit periodic forecasts and financial updates to the corporate headquarters. Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field with 12+ years progressive experience in financial analysis, planning, or program finance, ideally within a federal contracting environment. + Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field with 10+ years of relevant experience preferred. + Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power BI, Power Query). + Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly. + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, especially in turning complex data into actionable strategies. + In-depth understanding of cost accounting standards.
