Financial Controller, IHDS

With our whole health approach, we’re focused on addressing health concerns, improving resilience, reducing stress levels and emotional health issues. **POSITION SUMMARY** The financial controller for International Health Delivery Services (IHDS) will be responsible for leading the financial operations of the IHDS organization, including financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting helping to manage the organization’s expense base and support key strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of financial management in a large, multi-national corporation, ideally with specific background in international health insurance (although not essential). The position manages a team of approximately 10 individuals plus requires influence over other finance teams through a matrix reporting environment. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS** + Act as a strategic business partner to various departments, providing financial guidance and support to enhance decision-making processes. + Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements, developing internal benchmarking and working with relevant stakeholders to implement these initiatives. + Lead and participate in cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing financial processes and systems, driving value creation and delivering on our long-term business strategy. + Financial Reporting: oversee the preparation and presentation of financial reports and analysis for the IHDS organization as a whole as well as function and sub-function detail and other splits including line of business. + Budgeting & Forecasting: manage the quarterly forecasting process, including intercompany allocations processes, by working with function leaders and local finance teams to prepare estimates of costs and drive appropriate expense discipline. + Financial Analysis: conduct in-depth analysis to drive sound expense management, provide insights to business partners, and support strategic decision making. + Leadership: manage and mentor IHDS finance team of approximately 10 directly aligned finance professionals plus local finance teams via matrix reporting. **QUALIFICATIONS** + Bachelor’s degree preferred (Finance, Accounting, or related field). + CPA or equivalent certification preferred. + 5+ years relevant experience (preferably accounting, controller, FP&A) in a multi-national corporation, preferably insurance or other finance sector. + Excellent technical, analytical, and communication/presentation skills required. + Excellent financial modeling skills including Microsoft Excel and other commonly used tools/techniques. + Experience with financial management systems such as IBM TM1 or similar. + Strong leadership, negotiation, and project management skills. + Ability to handle complex analysis from issue identification to proposal of innovative potential solutions. + Strong business/organizational skills; detail-oriented. + Demonstrated initiative with commitment and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. **BENEFITS** **:** + Competitive salary + Multicultural and hybrid working environment + Private Medical Insurance + Employee Wellbeing Benefits + Educational Development Program Join our globally recognized brand where trust, communication, and a positive culture are paramount.
