We are seeking a highly experienced Financial Accountant with strong experience in GAAP accounting, SAP, and advanced Excel skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in month-end close, financial reporting, and data analysis, and will be able to contribute immediately with minimal training.
This role is best suited for professionals from manufacturing or medical device industries, as the accounting processes differ significantly from banking or services environments.
Key Responsibilities:Perform and oversee month-end close activitiesPrepare and analyze monthly financial reportsConduct financial analysis and forecasting based on historical and current dataEnsure compliance with GAAP standardsIdentify and investigate discrepancies in financial dataUtilize SAP for journal entries, reporting, and data managementLeverage advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, formulas) to analyze data and detect errorsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and decision-makingRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Accounting)5+ years of hands-on accounting experienceStrong understanding of GAAP principlesProficiency in SAPExpert-level Microsoft Excel skillsExperience in manufacturing or medical device environmentsAbility to work independently and proactively identify issuesPreferred Skills:Strong attention to detail and analytical mindsetExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentPay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
