Description

The Junior Financial Analyst is responsible for financial modeling, analysis, and decision support. The position will work with business unit leaders to develop and analyze potential growth opportunities and drive efficiencies in the current business. The company is looking for someone who is self-motivated, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can work on multiple projects simultaneously.

•\tEvaluate new business opportunities, potential acquisitions, new products, and growth initiatives by developing financial projection models.

•\tAssist in due diligence process for acquisitions and new service lines.

•\tDevelop detailed financial forecasts incorporating key financial and operational metrics.

•\tPrepare and distribute financial reports and packages by gathering and analyzing information related to current performance.

•\tPrepare sensitivity analysis impact on revenue, expenses, and profitability by modeling changes in key variables.

•\tWork with business unit leaders to create new courses of action to improve net profitability and develop roadmaps for sustained profitability.

•\tDecision support for business unit leaders through financial and operational ad hoc reporting and analysis.

•\tOther duties as assigned

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in financial analysis and modeling in an enterprise environment Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or another similar field.

• Advanced Excel, SQL (TM1 Experience a plus)

-\tKnowledge of how to work with large amounts of data to develop scalable financial reporting solutions.

-\tAbility to effectively communicate and summarize key findings to company executives.

-\tExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to interact at all levels of the organization

- Strong functional expertise in Finance and demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced environment

- Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills (Ability to build financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and new business valuation)

- Demonstrated leadership in defining cross-functional requirements and leading projects

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $33.65/hr.
