Summary:
This position is responsible to compile cost center and headcount actuals, compares to plan, and makes appropriate recommendations to assure meeting these objectives. He/she prepares cost center analysis, which measures performance against budgets and prior years and investigates and explains reasons for variances. The incumbent prepares various financial reports for use by company management. The Sr Financial Analyst will coordinate and consolidate cost center spending and headcount reviews with appropriate supporting analysis for an informed presentation. He/she will provide assistance to cost center managers regarding budgets and forecasts, in addition to independent projections of cost center spending. Specialized analysis in the area of administrative expenses.
Primary responsibilities for role:
• Maintain multiple system data to support cost center and headcount management.
• Provide monthly analysis on cost center and headcount actuals vs. plan.
• Develop cost center and headcount analysis modeling tools.
• Assist in the management of the cost center and headcount budgeting and forecasting process.
• Proactively analyze and interpret financial data.
• Prepare and present monthly presentations to customer management groups.
• Proactively inform management of any issues and discrepancies.

Education
• BS/BA in Finance or Accounting and minimum of 0-3 years relevant experience or MBA plus 1 year experience in related financial area
Equivalency:
Depending on the area of assignment, directly related experience or a combination of directly related education and experience and/or competencies may be considered in place of the stated requirements. Example: If a job level requires a Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of experience, an equivalency could include 8 years of experience, an Associate’s degree with 6 years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 2 years of experience.
