Position Overview:
Eligible for a hybrid work schedule split between home & office, with a minimum of 3 days in the office each week.
As part of the fast-paced Strategy, Planning & Analysis Department, this high-profile Financial Analyst role will be exposed to every level of the organization and play an integral part in maximizing financial and operational efficiencies for a $3.6 billion public company with over 350 full-service restaurants and more than 47,900 staff members. Taking the initiative to partner with our finance and operational leaders, you will facilitate ongoing improvements to our reporting infrastructure and processes.

Prepare and review key financial reporting schedules for management on a daily, weekly, and monthly basisAssist the accounting department with the month end close process and corporate consolidated billingPrepare complex financial trend and data analysis such as sales trends, financial and expense performance, return on investment and other business investment opportunitiesEnable enhanced analysis through greater and more efficient access to numerous data sourcesMaintain planning tools to support operator decision makingAssist in certain aspects of the annual planning process from supporting the rollout of the annual planning applications and working with the field to support plan submissionsPerform variance analysis and summarize key findingsAd-hoc reporting, special projects and other department support as neededParticipate in the weekly key reporting processesCommunicate complex financial data and strategy with senior leaders
What we require:
2+ years of experience in financial planning and analysisBachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Computer Science or relatedKnowledge of finance and accounting principles: ability to read and interpret financial statementsExceptionally strong computer skills, particularly with spreadsheet modeling (Excel) and presentation software (PowerPoint)Exceptional communication skills capable of translating complex business requirements to a non-technical audience in a clear and concise mannerAbility to balance multiple deliverables and deadlinesExposure to enterprise planning and/or business intelligence software such as Cognos Enterprise Planning, Board, TM1, Hyperion Financial Management, and MicroStrategy
