Financial Analyst – JLL
Location: Chicago (hybrid)
What this job involves: Join JLL's dynamic Market Solutions business as a Financial Analyst supporting our West Region Finance Leasing team from our Chicago office. This exciting role puts you at the center of critical financial operations, where you'll partner with cross-functional teams to develop impactful reporting and analyses that directly influence strategic business decisions. You'll play a vital role in financial planning, forecasting, and month-end processes while supporting leasing activities across the West Region. What your day-to-day will look like:
Execute month-end close processes including preparing journal entries, investigating variances, and ensuring accuracy in all financial postingsOversee Accounts Receivable maintenance and research to meet organizational objectives while reviewing accounts payable vouchers for compliancePrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with precision and timeliness, maintaining data integrity throughout all processesCollaborate with business teams to monitor financial targets, communicate results effectively, and support revenue and cost forecasting initiativesAnalyze financial data to identify risks and opportunities, providing insights that support strategic decision-makingLead data entry processes while organizing and maintaining comprehensive data collection, reporting, and communication systemsPartner with team members to develop and implement efficient processes, including automation opportunities and simplification initiativesRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent field with demonstrated academic excellence1-2 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, accounting, or related business functionsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applicationsSolid understanding of fundamental accounting principles including debits, credits, balance sheets, and technical accounting skillsStrong organizational abilities with exceptional analytical and communication skills across all business levelsHigh attention to detail and accuracy with proven ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environmentsExcellent customer service orientation with flexibility and adaptability to evolving business needsPreferred Qualifications:
Experience working in commercial real estate, leasing, or property management environmentsKnowledge of financial forecasting and budgeting processes with exposure to variance analysisFamiliarity with ERP systems, financial reporting software, or business intelligence toolsPrevious experience collaborating with sales professionals and senior business leadership teamsBasic understanding of accounts receivable and accounts payable processes and best practicesExperience with process improvement initiatives, automation tools, or workflow optimization projectsThis position does not provide visa sponsorship. Estimated compensation for this position:
66,000.00 – 69,000.00 USD per yearThis range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
