Job Title: Pricing/Financial Analyst

Job Description

The Pricing/Financial Analyst plays a critical role in the success of the C&I Energy Solutions team. You will collaborate directly with our experienced development team to create energy solutions that aid corporate sustainability leaders in achieving net zero emissions by 2040. The team reviews numerous project proposals annually and develops financial models for each, considering various scenarios and conducting multiple analyses.

Responsibilities

Understand project economics, cashflows, and returns, and model these in Excel.Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data by maintaining financial models, databases, and data collection processes.Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including executives, in a clear and persuasive manner.Collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders to efficiently progress projects.Evaluate pricing strategies, discounts, and promotions to optimize profitability.Use historical data and market trends to develop accurate sales forecasts.Analyze sales data, trends, and performance metrics to identify insights.Create regular reports and dashboards summarizing sales and development data.Conduct market research to understand customer behavior, competitive landscape, and industry trends.Make data-driven recommendations to improve sales processes and product offerings.

Essential Skills

Financial modelingMicrosoft Excel proficiency (including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, reporting/modeling)Financial reportingData analysis3+ years of experience in pricing, finance or FP&A. Critical thinking and a curious mindset

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (must have)Experience in underwritingHeavy market researchProcess improvement skills

Work Environment

Join a part of the energy team in Denver, serving as the liaison between the energy project team and corporate finance. You will create financial models for prospective projects and present them to the finance team for budgeting and approval. Initially, work is 3 days in the office and 2 days remote, transitioning to greater flexibility post-training. The team maintains a presence in the office 2 days a week. The environment is characterized by a relaxed, collaborative culture.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $48.07/hr.
