Job Title: Financial Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a financial analyst to work collaboratively with a highly talented team to support accounting functions within various iconic brands. This role involves both day-to-day operations of company accounting and supporting team project implementations.

ResponsibilitiesExecute month-end close and internal control processes.Prepare analyses and support the development of processes for recording and monitoring accounting transactions.Handle high-volume financial transactions and support timely and accurate reconciliation processes in a team environment.Collaborate on various important projects with cross-functional teams across the company.Support accounting for company-operated restaurants and related projects.Verify the integration of new systems with SAP, ensuring outputs align with the accounting system.Participate in testing scenarios for various payment types including cash, credit card, gift card, and third-party delivery.Assist with the automation of cash reconciliation, introducing a tool for daily reconciliations.Engage in system implementation across all brands, involving UAT testing and process mapping.Support company-wide roles including regular sales cash requests, credit card reconciliation requests, and restaurant accounting operations.Utilize ReconNET software for transaction matching and support phased go-live strategy for system implementations.Essential Skills1+ year basic experience in accounting.Proficiency in financial analysis, accounting, finance, reconciliation, debits, and credits.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g., SUMIF, VLOOKUP) and Word.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to communicate effectively with testing and documentation teams.Bachelor of Accounting or Finance required.Additional Skills & QualificationsExcellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Desire to learn and develop, particularly towards process understanding and automation.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish relationships.Experience with large complex data structures.Proficiency in ERP and Reporting Tools (e.g., SAP, Hyperion, OneStream, PowerBI).Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) preferred.Experience using auto-reconciliation programs (e.g., ReconNet, Blackline).Self-starter with the ability to work proactively and independently.Work Environment

This role involves working in a dynamic, high-paced, and collaborative environment, with opportunities to engage in process improvement projects across various areas, including IT and Technical Accounting. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement with 1-2 work-from-home days a month, transitioning to 4 days in the office by November. Standard work hours are from 9 AM to 5 PM, totaling a 40-hour work week.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
