About the team
At the heart of Amazon Treasury, a team of five strategic innovators manages relationships with top tier banks worldwide. This elite group drives transformative initiatives that shape our global banking ecosystem, from complex migrations to partner selection, impacting significant financial flows. Working closely with Treasury leadership and bank executives, they build partnerships that fuel Amazon's growth while ensuring robust banking capabilities for the future.
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
- 2-5 years of experience in financial analysis, treasury operations, or banking
- Demonstrated proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills
- Identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience
- Creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA, or CPA
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools and financial modeling
- Experience with treasury management systems or banking platforms
- Understanding of global banking services and treasury products
- Prior experience in relationship management or client-facing roles
- Track record of managing complex, cross-functional projects
- Ability to influence and communicate with senior stakeholders
- Experience in process improvement and optimization
- Knowledge of banking industry trends and regulatory environment
- Multi-language proficiency (a plus)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
