Financial Analysis - Technology Finance - Senior Associate

As a Financial Analysis Senior Associate in Technology Finance, you will collaborate across the organization to provide strategic financial analysis, oversight, and coordination of budgeting and forecasting.  You will serve as a trusted advisor, responsible for identifying, escalating, and mitigating business risks. This dynamic and fast-paced role aligns with the ever-evolving nature of the businesses we support.

Job Responsibilities:

Lead annual and ongoing financial planning for product areas, providing insights into monthly financial performance, forecasting, budgeting, and trend analysis.Develop and monitor performance metrics, create presentations, and deliver financial analysis on various topics to senior management.Oversee financial control, forecasting, budgeting, and the delivery of management reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. Develop new reporting capabilities, including dashboards.Conduct variance analysis to identify key drivers of results and present findings to senior management, explaining deviations from forecasts and budgets.Manage and deliver key work streams and tasks, ensuring timely execution even with limited information.Identify and resolve key business risks, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.Communicate with key business partners to understand projects and drive next steps. Demonstrate strong design acumen and expertise in Excel and PowerPoint.Provide business rationale and decisions for month-end financial performance and forecasting.Conduct reviews and analysis on product financial performance, consumption/demand planning, budgeting, billing, and trends.Create ad hoc reports for senior management, perform variance analysis to understand key drivers of results, manage and deliver key work streams and tasks.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.4+ years of work experience in Financial Services, and/or accounting/controller backgroundStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly.Proven track record of executing special projects with minimal lead time.Inquisitive, enthusiastic, and diligent, with the ability to challenge peers.Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, with intermediate to advanced skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze large data sets and present conclusions concisely.Team player with the ability to communicate effectively with key business partners.
