As a Financial Analysis, Associate in the Commercial Banking Finance team, you will support business and financial analytics and reporting for senior leaders within the Commercial Bank. You will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and reviewing financial models and analyses, both recurring and ad-hoc. In this role, you will conduct deep dive analyses on key issues impacting clients and the business, identifying root causes and proposing solutions. You will partner with business management and analytics teams to deliver insightful reporting and drive continuous improvement.

Job Responsibilities

Assist with dialogue with senior business leadership and stakeholders across the Commercial Bank to provide information on business trends, financial performance, market strategy, competitive landscape, and industry trendsDevelop, consolidate, and present insightful and robust qualitative and quantitative financial analysis for key internal clients, including senior managementMaintain and review financial models and analyses, both recurring and ad-hocConduct deep dive analyses on key issues impacting clients or the business to determine root causes and propose solutionsPartner with Business Management and Analytics and Reporting teams to develop insightful reporting, focusing on drivers and actionable outcomesSupport public disclosures related to business strategy, financial performance, and industry trends for firmwide presentationsDrive value-added change by helping to simplify processes, accelerate automation, and enhance analytics and business supportCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial reporting and analysisPrepare presentation materials for management and other stakeholdersIdentify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency in analytics and reportingStay current on industry trends and best practices in financial analysis

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related fieldMinimum of 4 years of experience in corporate financial analytics or related fieldStrong understanding of key financial statement drivers and corporate finance conceptsExceptional analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with a proven track record of executionStrategic thinker with the ability to synthesize complex informationExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong relationship management and interpersonal skillsAdvanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPointAbility to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines
