As a Financial Analysis Associate in our Finance team, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm

Job Responsibilities:

Handle expense and headcount budgeting, reporting, forecasting, and analysis.Analyze variances, trends, risks, opportunities, and performance against budget, forecast, and targets; identify key business drivers and sensitivities.Deliver month-end results, forecasts for the remainder of the year, and budgets for future years.Develop management reporting (MBR/EMR) and enhance the financial reporting and business analysis framework; understand key drivers of results and present insightful commentary.Support ad-hoc financial analysis for key functional areas and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.Create financial business cases to support business initiatives.Demonstrate strong understanding of allocation methodology and indirect technology expenses allocated to technology and business units.Build and maintain advanced workflows and dashboards using Alteryx, Tableau, SQL, and Databricks.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Chartered Accountant/ MBA (Finance) (or similar educational background) with 5+ years of post-qualification experienceStrong financial analytical skills – Fusion of Finance and Data CapabilitiesExcellent partnering skills. Ability to multi-task and work autonomously within team environmentAbility to research issues/problems and provide a ‘solution-based’ approach Experience partnering in either a Finance and/or Business Management capacity and providing insights/recommendations to senior managementConfident and personable attitude with the ability to face off with senior management at all levels, influence/handle difficult messages, problem solve, and resolve conflictsDetail oriented individual capable of completing reporting and analytics accurately, on a timely basis, and in a presentable mannerExcellent written and verbal communication skills a mustExcellent time management skills and ability to multi task and handle competing priorities under pressure. Self-motivated individual to go beyond immediate responsibilitiesExperience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
