Financial Analysis Analyst, Billing - Evernorth - Remote
**POSITION SUMMARY** The Financial Analysis Analyst oversees billing for a high-volume client book of business, handling inquiries and collaborating with internal and external partners to ensure client satisfaction. Key duties include cash application, invoicing, collections, identifying process improvements to enhance client experiences, and accurately reporting of month-end results to reduce financial risk. This role requires problem-solving and negotiation skills with key stakeholders and partners, preparing and analyzing reports, collection of overdue payments, and supporting larger markets or National Accounts. **Primary Responsibilities** + This is a client facing role where excellent customer service is essential. + Manage the end-to-end billing relationship for a complex book of business of approximately 350 accounts. + Maintain multiple billing systems to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoicing. + Cash application, collections, client set up and delivery of quality customer service. + Prepare reports, utilize Excel for reporting and analysis, perform journal entries, and reconcile accounts. + Exercise independent decision-making and multi-task throughout the workday. + Solid communication skills, both oral and written, to effectively collaborate with internal partners and resolve billing matters with clients. + Participate in the review and analysis of assigned vendor capitated business. + Process month-end close and meet all required close deadlines. + Prepare, analyze, and distribute assigned reports in accordance to close calendar. + Maintain assigned databases to ensure accuracy and data integrity. + Maintain a positive working relationship with teammates. + Apply critical thinking skills and financial knowledge to identify root causes of client issues. + Demonstrate strong organizational and prioritization skills. **Key Qualifications** + High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field preferred. + 3+ years’ relevant billing and invoicing experience required. + General understanding of accounts receivable, general ledger accounting principles. + Collections experience preferred. + Strong communication (oral and written) and analytical skills. + Client services experience required. + Detail oriented, manage timely and accurate delivery of reports and other deadlines. + Proficient using MS Office software, specifically strong Excel skills required- experience with pivot tables strongly preferred, knowledge of Access preferred. If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload. For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 27 - 41 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
