You'll lead your team in advising students and families on their financial options, ensuring a smooth and supportive journey. Your deep expertise in Title IV guidelines will be critical as you develop and implement processes that keep us compliant and efficient. Hire, train, and develop your team to achieve high performance, recognizing their contributions and celebrating their successes.Operational Management: Oversee all campus financial aid operations. You'll ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations, and continuously improve processes for efficiency, accuracy, and student satisfaction.Student & Family Support: Serve as a subject matter expert, guiding students and their families through the financial aid process, including grants, loans, scholarships, and work-study. Promote financial literacy and provide support throughout the student journey.Strategic Collaboration: Collaborate with other key departments like Admissions, Student Services, and the Registrar to effectively support students and business goals. Use key metrics to identify trends, evaluate initiatives, and develop creative solutions to complex problems.Compliance & Integrity: Drive a culture of integrity and accountability. Ensure seamless and compliant financial aid administration by optimizing delivery mechanisms and ensuring adherence to internal policies and external regulations. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.Experience: Ten years of relevant experience in a post-secondary institution, with at least five years in a supervisory role. Experience with Title IV proprietary education is a must, and five years of experience in Title IV administration is strongly preferred.Compliance: Must not be in default on any Federal Student Loans.Leadership & Management: Proven ability to lead and manage a team through change, continuous process improvement, and conflict resolution.Financial Aid Expertise: Deep knowledge of federal and state funding programs (e.g., Veterans Affairs, loans, grants, and scholarships) and proficiency with financial aid management software and systems.Problem-Solving & Communication: Exceptional skills in active listening, problem-solving, and decision-making, with the ability to analyze complex information and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
