Position Overview:
The Director of Financial Aid is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the Financial Aid office. This role will oversee the development and implementation of financial aid strategies, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and experienced leader who can inspire and motivate a team to achieve exceptional results.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree finance, accounting, business, or related field (required); Master’s degree (preferred) Experience:Minimum 10 years of professional experience in a post-secondary education setting (required)Minimum five (5) years of supervisory/leadership experience in financial aid operations (preferred) Minimum five (5)years’ experience administering Title IV financial aid programs (preferred)Title IV proprietary education experience (required)Must not be in default on any Federal Student Loans and must remain in good standing while employed (required)NASFAA credentials or Title IV-related certifications (preferred)Communicate effectively: Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written. Multi-Task: Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Tech Savvy: Proficiency in personal computer software applications, including Word, Excel, and Access
