**About the Role:**
CBRE is seeking a Finance Sr. Manager to lead a team supporting an Aerospace contractor client in the Phoenix area. This role, part of our Financial Strategy and Operations function, involves managing all financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and reporting. You'll lead a team, ensuring accurate and insightful financial outputs, implementing process improvements, and building strong client relationships.
This Monday-Friday, hybrid position in the Phoenix area requires a strong understanding of financial principles, leadership skills, and the ability to drive strategic alignment. You'll oversee all aspects of financial operations, ensuring compliance and providing critical financial insights to support the client's success.
**What You’ll Do:**
+ Supervise employees, coordinate daily activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff.
+ Lead all aspects of training, development, and performance evaluations, including coaching and mentoring.
+ Drive expense planning, future financial outlook, strategic direction setting, and standard management reporting.
+ Approve financial analyses, reports (balance sheets, cash flow), and journal entries.
+ Produce detailed financial reports, packages, and pro forma analyses for senior management.
+ Implement accounting policies and procedures, lead special projects, and prepare management presentations.
+ Successfully communicate expectations, handle sensitive issues, and influence interested parties to reach agreement.
+ Troubleshoot issues, model positive behaviors, and apply expertise to achieve team goals.
**What You’ll Need:**
+ Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5 - 8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
+ Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
+ Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
+ Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets with impacts on own job discipline, multiple job disciplines, and department.
+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Extensive organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.
+ Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
