The role is also responsible for the preparation of Finance processes such as but not limited to JE preparation, reconciliation and preparation of management reports being used by Business Units within Asia. **Roles and Responsibilities:** **Accounting and Reporting** The job holder works closely with the business units to ensure smooth flow in the daily, monthly, quarterly and annual accounting cycle of the Asia Finance Controllers team, including but not limited to, preparation of journal entries, accounting and reporting work for inter-company, interdivisional and overhead expense allocation accounts and monitoring of suspense accounts, management and financial reporting, daily status reports, account reconciliations. **Reconciliation** The job holder performs reconciliation such as Bank Reconciliation, Intercompany Reconciliation and System reconciliation to ensure completeness and correctness of financial information for the month. **Management Reporting and Analysis** The role is responsible for generating Performance to Plan (PTP) reports which is being used by the Business Unit within Asia Division to measure their expenses for a particular period. The job holder is also responsible for preparation of other management reports catered to the needs of different stakeholders of the Regional Office and provides ad hoc reports as requested by management. **Reviewer** The job holder is responsible to perform peer-to-peer review and ensure accurate submission of output to the Business Unit. **Automation Champion** The job holder is responsible in proposing automation initiatives on processes handled by his/her assigned Business unit with the goal of improving accuracy and contributing to overall cost efficiency of the team. **Accounting and Reporting** The job holder will be allocated with processes not limited to: + finance operations transactional in nature but has financial impact (e.g. Invoicing, Credit Card Refund, Daily Matching of Premium) + **Accounting Operations** – responsible in preparing, uploading of Journal Entry to facilitate month-end closing activities. Reconciliation of accounts and balance sheet items for regulatory requirements + **Management Reporting** – to support needs of different internal or external parties. **Qualifications:** + Must have a degree in Finance or Accounting, CPA / Certified Tax Technician is preferred. + 4 - 7 years of working experience with progressive responsibility within the general accounting and management reporting field, at least 3 of which internally with an international organization or Shared Service Center. + Proficient in Microsoft Excel, MS Access, Business Objects applications, Lawson, Hyperion Essbase. + Experience in process migration is a plus. + Has strong attention to details and can work independently. + Good command of written and oral English. + Hybrid Work Arrangement: Amenability and readiness to work onsite and from home anytime (dependent on business need AND/OR current external environment/situation) and must be willing to work on a day shift schedule.
