Role Overview:
To work closely with Head of Shared Services- FinOps - help in leading corporate FP\&A activities for JCPenney India Pvt Ltd, driving financial planning, budgeting, and variance analysis while leveraging advanced data analytics, automation, and technology to deliver actionable insights and improve decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Financial Planning & Analysis

Own budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for corporate finance.Partner with business units to ensure financial discipline and adherence to budgets.Challenge assumptions and provide strategic insights to leadership.

2.Data Analytics & Insights

Develop and implement advanced analytics models for trend analysis, predictive forecasting, and scenario planning.Use data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau) to present insights effectively.Drive data-driven decision-making across finance and business teams.

3.Stakeholder Management

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with business objectives.Influence and negotiate with stakeholders to ensure compliance and accountability.Communicate complex financial and analytical concepts in a clear, business-friendly manner.

4.Technology & Automation

Build and maintain tools to automate FP\&A processes using Excel macros, Power Query, Power Automate, Python/R scripts.Explore emerging technologies for process optimization and efficiency.Partner with IT/data teams to ensure robust data governance and system integration.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education: Post Graduation in Finance or equivalent.Experience: 6–10 years in FP\&A, corporate finance, or related roles.

 

Technical Skills:

Advanced Excel, Power Query, Power BI/Tableau, Power Automate.SQL and Python/R for data analysis.Knowledge of automation tools and basic coding for process improvement.

 

Analytical Skills:

Strong understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.Ability to interpret large datasets and derive actionable insights.

Soft Skills:

Excellent stakeholder management and communication.Strong business acumen and problem-solving mindset.

Preferred Skills

Exposure to machine learning concepts for predictive analytics.Experience in building dashboards and self-service reporting tools.Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle).
