Job Description
The Finance Process Analyst will collaborate with team members to document existing policies, procedures, and workflows. The role involves evaluating current processes for efficiency, accuracy, and compliance, identifying gaps and opportunities for automation or streamlining. The Analyst will develop clear, user-friendly documentation, including process maps, SOPs, and training materials, as well as AP metrics reporting to track performance against KPIs. The role also includes assisting in implementing process improvements and supporting change management and project management for executed process changes. Additionally, support will be provided for internal audits and compliance reviews by ensuring documentation is complete and up-to-date.
ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with team members to document existing policies, procedures, and workflows.Evaluate current processes for efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.Identify gaps, redundancies, and opportunities for automation or streamlining.Develop clear, user-friendly documentation including process maps, SOPs, and training materials.Develop AP metrics reporting to track performance against KPIs.Assist in implementing process improvements and tracking their effectiveness.Support internal audits and compliance reviews by ensuring documentation is complete and up-to-date.Conduct data analytics on historical processing to evaluate bottlenecks and inefficiencies.Essential SkillsProcess improvementProcess developmentProcess mappingStrong understanding of AP systems, workflows, and best practices.Experience with documentation tools such as Microsoft Word, Visio, Lucidchart.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of accounts payable.Additional Skills & QualificationsDegree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.2 years of experience in AP, Financial Operations, or Process Improvement.Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Process Audit and Documentation.Understanding of Sox compliance, project management, and ERP systems.Exposure to Lean Six Sigma/Kaizen change management.Accounts Payable experience and ability to lead workshops and train.Cross-functional collaboration skills with procurement, IT, and Accounting.Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement certification preferred.Work Environment

This is a Contract position based out of Tampa, Florida.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $57.00/hr.
