Finance Operations Specialist (Accounting)

As a Finance Operations Specialist (Accounting), you will support the Finance department by ensuring accurate account management, timely processing of financial transactions, and preparation of reliable financial reports. You will work closely with the Finance Manager and other team members to maintain financial integrity and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Process and record financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner.

Ensure that accounts are reconciled on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Handle account inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and manage disputes efficiently.

Assist in preparing financial reports, identifying errors, and highlighting discrepancies.

Support payment processes, ensuring deadlines are met and procedures are followed.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.

Maintain compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and relevant regulations.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and documentation.

Execute tasks and requests as instructed by the Finance Manager or Accounting Manager.

Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in accounting or finance operations.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.

Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

Proficient in accounting software and MS Office applications.

Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Previous Accounts experience, preferably within a hotel environmentRelevant degree, in Accounting or related business discipline, from an academic institution
