Job Description
The FP&A Manager will play a pivotal role in leading financial planning, analysis, and execution to support our operations. This position requires a strategic thinker capable of delivering actionable insights and overseeing the financial operations to enhance transparency and accuracy.
Responsibilities
Lead annual budgets, quarterly and monthly forecasts.Analyze financial performance and deliver actionable insights.Prepare comprehensive monthly financial reports for senior leadership and corporate headquarters.Manage and oversee the U.S. bookkeeper, ensuring accurate accounts payable/accounts receivable, general ledger activity, payroll support, and reconciliations.Work closely with the corporate financial team on consolidated reporting, cash management, accounting policies, and strategic initiatives.Ensure accurate project financials, including cost tracking, revenue recognition, and burn rate analysis.Participate in the development of price proposals and project budgets, ensuring cost realism, compliance, and competitiveness.Ensure full adherence to FAR and DFARS regulations.Support internal/external audits and maintain robust financial controls.Develop and strengthen financial processes to enhance transparency and accuracy.Maintain proper documentation and cost accounting practices aligned with U.S. government requirements.Utilize Microsoft Business Central for reporting, budgeting, and financial data management.Build dashboards, KPI tracking, and automated reporting tools.Drive improvements to ERP processes and ensure data accuracy.Essential Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.5+ years of experience in FP&A within a manufacturing business.Strong modeling, budgeting, and reporting skills.Experience managing accounting functions.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in defense, aerospace, or government contracting.Proficiency in Microsoft Business Central (major advantage) and Excel.Knowledge of FAR and DFARS.Work Environment
The role allows for remote work, with occasional travel required. The candidate must be authorized to work in the U.S. and will need to visit the office approximately once a month.
