This position is accountable in producing all financial reports and developing strategies based on finance research, guiding Korea leadership team in making business decisions in the long and short term. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** Providing leadership,direction,and management of the finance team + Lead the finance members in Korea + Mentor and develop the team,performance evaluations and building an effective and efficient team Financial Analysis,Budgeting and Forecasting + Review and analyze monthly financial results and provide recommendations for continuous improvements + Review of Trial balance and Finalization of monthly/quarterly/yearly financials in line with US GAAP,Korean GAAP and other requirements as needed + Lead the annual budgeting and strategic planning process and ensure that is aligned with regional directions + Ensure credibility of Finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends, and Forecasts + Analyze costs,pricing,variable contributions, sales results and company's actual performance compared to the business plans Insurance,Tax and Audit + Responsible for insurance matters of the legal entity.Ensure that appropriate policies and coverage are in place + Oversee the preparation and timely filing of any local,state,and corporate tax returns + Review and monitor internal controls to ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley Act + Management representation for internal and external audits(Statutory and Tax) + Provide management response to audit findings and put in systems to implement the audit findings as applicable + Manage tax controls areas and provide tax consulting to the business in an accurate and timely manner based on information of other functions and departments + Manage quarterly VAT reporting&yearly local Taxation reporting Cash Managment + Monitoring and management of cashflow to meeting organization need and invest the surplus if considered appropriate + Ensure timely Expense Payments,including Expenses,Vendor payments or other business transactions + Undertake credit checks for new customers and ensure that overdue are kept at minimum Statutory Compliance + Monitor and ensure that financial practices are in line with all local statutory legislation and regulations + Ensure statutory required number of board meetings are conducted and all the secretarial filings relating to the lcoal legislations is done on time + Work with all the functions to ensure appropriate legal compliance PER System(Purchasing) Management: Managing Fixed assets including acquisition, depreciation, ARO and retirements. **Education** + Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Chartered Accountant (CA, CPA preferred) **Work Experience** + Minimum 8 years of experience in Accounting/ Finance function. + Deep knowledge of and understanding of financial process and shred services and related subject matter + Solid understanding of internal controls, risk management, financial systems, development and/or production support + Strong knowledge of financial process and system controls required for compliance. + Fluent in English and Korean language **Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities** + Analytical and strategic thinking with business acumen foreign multi-national company experience required. + Good English communication skills – Team player/ capacity to coordinate with other departments. + Strong interpersonal and communication skill + Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a dynamic environment. + Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description + Able to comply with the company’s safety policy at all times. + Able to comply with the company’s quality policy at all times. **Travel Requirements** 10%: Up to 26 business days per year
