Finance Manager, Prime Video Advertising

The Prime Video Advertising (PVA) Finance team is looking for a talented and motivated Finance Manager to lead Prime Video's advertising offering across international markets, with initial focus on Canada, Mexico, and Brazil. The ideal candidate will collaborate with our Advertising business teams to: • Evaluate and prioritize new market opportunities • Develop and execute strategic initiatives in existing markets • Lead comprehensive financial planning and analysis for international operations Key job responsibilities • Ownership of annual/quarterly financial planning and budgeting processes within PVA marketplaces with initial focus on Canada, Mexico, and Brazil. • Provide financial reporting and variance analysis to assist with weekly/monthly/quarterly business review mechanisms. • Perform ad-hoc financial deep dives as necessary to highlight risks and opportunities for the PVA business and communicate findings with PVA Business and Finance leadership. • Audit business/financial performance regularly and coordinate with other stakeholder teams to contribute to broader Prime Video business and finance mechanisms. • Coordinate with Accounting and other Finance stakeholders to complete monthly, quarterly and annual close processes. • Design new metrics/mechanisms to improve visibility into drivers of business performance. About the team Prime Video Ads Finance partners with the broader Prime Video Finance organization to support ad-supported content planning, technology investment, and overall business strategy. We strive to deliver high-quality and actionable insights, strategic analysis, and financial controllership to build a sustainable long-term Ad-supported streaming business that will delight customers and provide maximum value to the Prime Video business and Amazon overall. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science) - 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience - 4+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience - 4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience Preferred Qualifications - 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience - 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience - MBA, or CPA - Knowledge of SQL/ETL - Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards) - Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
