As a CBRE Finance Manager, you'll be at the heart of our Business Unit's financial strategy, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and insightful analysis. You'll be the go-to expert for financial performance, building strong relationships and providing critical support to our team. This role is a vital part of the Finance team, the engine that powers CBRE's financial success. We're a collaborative group of professionals dedicated to providing financial leadership and driving strategic decision-making. **What You'll Do** + Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, particularly within the Business Unit – become a trusted advisor. We are a company build on relationships and operate a true partnership approach. + Collaborate with Contract Managers, Project Managers, and senior team members to ensure seamless financial operations. + Prepare accurate and timely Business Unit reports, including comprehensive financial analysis, in line with company timelines. + Master contract governance, ensuring financial compliance and maximizing profitability within contractual frameworks. + Lead the annual planning process, providing insightful forecasting and identifying key performance indicators. + Ensure adherence to CBRE's financial policies and statutory requirements – maintain the integrity of our financial operations. + Lead, mentor, and develop the Contract Support team – build a high-performing and motivated team. + Optimize financial processes by leveraging CBRE's systems and reporting tools – drive efficiency and best practices. + Proactively identify, analyze, and resolve potential business risks and opportunities to enhance financial performance – be a strategic partner. **What You'll Need** + Proven experience in financial management, ideally within a business unit or from an audit background. + A strong foundation in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting – you know your numbers! + Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills – build strong relationships and communicate complex information clearly. + The ability to analyze complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations – be a problem-solver. + Experience in financial planning and analysis – bring your strategic thinking to the table. + Proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools – be tech-savvy. + Strong organizational and time-management skills – stay on top of deadlines and priorities. + The ability to lead by example – inspire and empower others. + An understanding of accounting principles – ensure accuracy and compliance. This role will suit someone who has experience in Audit and wants to move to a workplace that is focussed on business partnership, coaching and educating the business to think strategically about their financial performance and overall capability. This is to ensure the Business Unit meets their financial goals and are aware of risks prior to year end.
