Finance Manager, FP&A Lead - Global Logistics, Inbound Transportation
Amazon is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Finance Manager to lead FP&A Reporting for Amazon's Global Logistics Inbound Network. This role combines financial reporting leadership with strategic partnership, serving as the primary owner of all Inbound financial reporting, analysis, and insights that drive decision-making across the organization.

As the FP&A Reporting Lead for Inbound, you will own the end-to-end reporting process, including monthly financial reviews, variance analysis, forecasting, and executive-level reporting packages. You will be responsible for consolidating financial results across multiple Inbound business units, developing standardized reporting frameworks, and delivering actionable insights that influence strategic decisions. This role requires translating complex financial data into clear narratives that enable leadership to understand performance drivers and make informed business decisions.

This person will work closely with the Inbound Planning and Execution team as their strategic finance business partner, serving as the primary point of contact for all financial reporting and analysis. They will take a practical, down-to-earth approach to thoroughly understand the team's operations, identify cost savings opportunities, and own the process for securing financial entitlements. Through regular meetings and deep dives into data and performance metrics, they will gain insights into areas for optimization and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Own and lead all FP&A reporting for Inbound operations, including monthly business reviews, executive dashboards, and performance scorecards
Develop and maintain standardized reporting frameworks that provide consistent, accurate, and timely financial insights to stakeholders at all levels
Lead variance analysis and financial storytelling, translating data into clear narratives that explain performance drivers and trends
Partner with business leaders to design KPIs and metrics that align with strategic objectives and drive accountability
Consolidate financial results across Inbound business units, ensuring accuracy and consistency in reporting
Build and maintain financial models for forecasting, scenario planning, and long-range planning activities
Provide financial analysis and insights to business leaders, translating complex data into clear, actionable recommendations
Identify and drive cost savings opportunities across the Inbound supply chain network through data-driven analysis
Build strategic relationships with cross-functional partners to influence decision-making and drive profitability
Lead the development of reporting automation and process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability

About the team
The Inbound Transportation Finance Team is responsible for oversight of the consolidated P&L that comprises of Imports, Domestic Inbound, and Transfers and is responsible for getting inventory from Vendors to Fulfillment Centers (FCs) as well as moving inventory within the FC network in a cost efficient and timely manner.
