Key job responsibilities - Partner with Sales Leaders to develop and implement strategic initiatives, creating financial frameworks that drive data-informed business decisions and maximize return on investments. - Build and maintain key reporting metrics (KPIs) with compelling narratives that help business partners understand performance trends and take appropriate action. - Perform complex financial analyses and develop scalable mechanisms that provide insights on business drivers, identifying opportunities for growth and operational improvements. - Present financial summaries and business insights to senior management, effectively communicating complex finance topics with the right level of detail for informed decision-making. - Drive short and long-term financial planning processes, collaborating across organizations to ensure alignment with strategic objectives while maintaining strong financial controllership. You might start by reviewing key performance metrics and preparing insightful analyses for an upcoming business review with Sales leadership. Throughout the day, you'll collaborate with cross-functional partners on strategic initiatives, dive deep into data to uncover business insights, and develop recommendations that drive action. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science), or MBA - Experience in Excel (macros, index, conditional list, arrays, pivots, lookups), or experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, MS Power Query, Python) - Experience building and managing financial models for business forecasting and problem solving - Demonstrable Finance experience, with ability to partner with senior leadership, and produce analyses that aids strategic decision-making Preferred Qualifications - Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results - Experience working in a matrixed environment, influencing strategy, and achieving goals by working across the organization - Experience dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering measurable results in an agile environment - CMA or CPA, or MBA Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
