AWS Finance seeks a Finance Manager to support some of our newest as well as evolved services within the AWS Applied AI Solutions portfolio. This role offers a direct business partnership support and will work closely with senior finance management and key business partners to drive product/service pricing, cost optimization, financial planning, decision support, and controllership Key job responsibilities As a Finance Manager, you will work directly with business leaders to identify opportunities and develop business cases. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Leading and influencing strategic financial decisions to drive long-term growth and profitability including evaluating pricing strategies and investments in new services and features - Full P&L ownership of all services and partnering with Product, Engineering, and Sales to assess financial implications of initiatives to accelerate revenue growth, improve profitability, and improve free cash flow - Influencing private pricing structures to enable top line growth while ensuring controllership and margin protection - Managing projects that significantly impact the business including partnering with engineering teams to identify and implement infrastructure cost optimizations - Leading the OP1/OP2 and R&O planning processes including continuously evolving the forecasting approach to align with changing business needs and clearly presenting business drivers and narratives to senior leadership - Contribute with deep-dive analyses and insights in Weekly, Quarterly and Monthly Business Reviews Basic Qualifications - 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field Preferred Qualifications - MBA, MS in Finance, CFA or a related field - Demonstrated ability to develop and present analyses and insights to senior management - Experience in implementing financial reporting and scalable processes - Demonstrated ability to work independently and self-motivate in a fast paced and rapidly-changing environment - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities and drive projects to completion - Demonstrated ability to influence decisions through effective verbal and written communication, logical reasoning and the presentation of alternatives. - Strong Passion for complex problem solving - Excellent Excel skills Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
