**As the Finance Lead for the AMS region, you will own the financial performance and ensure robust management and control across all locations, covering Offices & Data Centres. You will drive the region's financial success, contributing to sustainable growth through exceptional client service and collaboration with global teams and stakeholders. Key responsibilities include overseeing month-end processes, reporting, forecasting, and planning, while maintaining key client relationships. This leadership role requires exceptional client-facing skills, a proven ability to meet deadlines, and encompasses the United States, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, and Mexico.**
**What You Will Do:**
• Cultivate and maintain high-quality, impactful client relationships across the AMS region, serving as a strategic business partner to account management and key client stakeholders.
• Lead and manage contract governance, ensuring a deep understanding of contract terms and conditions, and accurate accounting for all cost elements.
• Oversee the preparation and delivery of comprehensive monthly client reports, client budgets, and regular forecasts, collaborating closely with operations teams to ensure accuracy and challenge assumptions as needed.
• Take full ownership of accurate financial reporting, including Profit & Loss analysis and commentary, balance sheet reconciliations, and annual plans, with responsibility for understanding and overseeing postings made by central CBRE platform finance teams (e.g., LATAM).
• Proactively identify and manage the region's Risks & Opportunities, keeping the AMS Finance Lead informed of key items.
• Drive continuous improvement in cash flow, margins, and reporting, ensuring timely invoicing and the effective management of accounts receivable, including driving actions to resolve overdue balances.
• Identify, champion, and implement cost-saving opportunities, ensuring the client receives optimal value.
• Prepare and present monthly formal Corporate P&L and Balance sheet reviews, providing detailed variance analysis and insights.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, maintaining data integrity within client reporting and GWS systems.
• Collaborate with the Global Senior Finance Manager and Global FD, as well as the Global Reporting, Planning, and Analysis team, in delivering best-in-class GWS and client management information, including annual budgets, monthly management accounts, and forecasts.
• Ensure all CBRE and statutory obligations are met for reporting and governance purposes.
• Lead and participate in client related audits.
**What You Will Need:**
• Hold a Chartered Accountant qualification (or equivalent).
• 5+ years of relevant experience in complex multinational environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong oral presentation skills (fluent English).
• Ability to shape, lead, and influence senior managers.
• Results/task-oriented, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently.
• Willingness to undertake travel as the role/business requires.
• Experience with the following : Peoplesoft, GMP, Cost Plus, Fixed Price Commercial Models.
• Formal training in the use of Excel Word and presentation software packages
• IT Skills to achieve key tasks and give the business a sound reporting base.
• Previous experience of a service industry role using operating systems such as Peoplesoft.
• Dealt with GMP, Cost plus and Fixed price commercial models
• Involved in acquisitions, including the integration of new businesses
**• Availability to work Monday to Friday from 12:00 to 20:00.**
