The Position
At Novo Nordisk, interns will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced industry professionals and gain valuable, hands-on, full-time work experience. For 12 weeks, interns will be immersed in the environment of a 24/7 commercial scale bio-production facility and contribute to the business by providing sustainable and meaningful project work. The Finance Intern will be directly involved with helping our West Lebanon, NH location create and test an internal store within our Procure-to-Pay (P2P) software, which will support Finance and Procurement functions sitewide. This internship will get to coordinate directly with colleagues at other Novo Nordisk US and Denmark locations to benchmark and implement best practices for this project. The Finance Intern will also have opportunities to support day to day finance functions by updating and formatting recurring reports, PowerBI dashboards, SOWs, and other miscellaneous finance documents. This internship will require regular communication and coordination with stakeholders across different departments both onsite and at other Novo Nordisk locations.
This role is based onsite at our West Lebanon, NH bio-production facility. Work schedule is: Monday-Friday 8am-430pm.
Program Start: May 26, 2026.
Program End: August 14, 2026.
Relationships
Reports to: Senior Manager, Finance
Essential Functions
+ Assist the Finance and Indirect Procurement department in preparing and updating standard reports and dashboards
+ Develop a good understanding of finance and procurement in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
+ Works on department projects and updates stakeholders according to plan
+ Proactively build relationships with stakeholders
+ Coordinate with stakeholders to facilitate implementation of best practices for internship project, and be able to present proposals in concise format
+ Utilizes software and/or systems such as (MS Office, SAP, Concur, etc.) specific to the functional area to gather and generate basic reports, timelines, tables ,graphs, correspondence and presentations
+ Perform all job duties and responsibilities in a compliant and ethical manner and in accordance with all applicable healthcare laws, regulations, and industry codes
+ Incorporates the Novo Nordisk Way and 10 Essentials in all activities and interactions with others
+ Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
+ Must be currently attending an accredited four-year college or university pursing a Bachelor's or Master's degree. Preferred to be pursuing relevant degree such as: Finance, Supply Chain, Accounting, Business, or similar major.
+ Strong academic record with a preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
+ Conscientious self-starter with good organizational skills, project management skills and attention to detail
+ Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities, must be able to multi-task
+ Strong interpersonal communication and ability to collaborate with teams; must effectively operate independently, across functional lines, and with internal customers
+ Demonstrated personal initiative, self-motivation, flexibility, adaptability and willingness to learn
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
