Your new role

As a Finance Business Partner in MSAT (Manufacturing Science and Technology), you'll provide strategic financial support that drives operational excellence across our API production. This 12-month maternity cover offers you the opportunity to step into a well-established role where you'll be at the table where critical decisions are made, translating complex financial data into insights that shape how we scale and deliver treatments to patients.

Your responsibilities will include:

Leading budgeting and planning processes (AB/LE and MTP), managing FTE budgets and cost categories including travel, equipment, and training Delivering monthly financial insights, variance analysis, and reporting to support strategic decision-making across MSAT leadership Acting as financial sparring partner to VP, directors, and associate managers, ensuring stakeholders have the financial intelligence they need Supporting strategic projects including FTE reallocations, PAS-X, Sidechain, production calculations and PAT initiatives  Ensuring compliant purchasing practices, optimizing Coupa/SAP workflows, and resolving structural procurement issues Serving as go-to expert for SAP, JET, GFP and Cost Center Tool, creating templates and guides that empower MSAT colleagues Driving continuous improvement through data analysis, process optimization, and proactive identification of opportunities.

Your new department In CMC & Product Supply, we cover the full value chain from drug and device development to marketed Novo Nordisk products. We are more than 30,000 colleagues across the globe with the shared responsibility of scaling molecules, processes, devices, and products, dedicated to supplying life-saving medicines to the patients who need them most.

Within CMC & Product Supply, you'll join API MSAT Business Support – a team dedicated to ensuring manufacturing operations run efficiently and strategically. MSAT bridges development and large-scale production, and as Finance Business Partner, you'll be instrumental in enabling this critical function. You'll work closely with stakeholders across Bagsværd, Kalundborg, and Gentofte, ensuring financial excellence supports our mission to deliver treatments to patients who need them. 

 

Your skills & qualifications We're looking for a Finance Business Partner who thrives in a dynamic environment where financial acumen meets operational impact. You'll bring:

Strong financial background with experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting within a complex organizational environment Proven ability to communicate complex financial analysis and statements to management with clarity and impact Advanced analytical capabilities with the ability to transform data into actionable insights for decision-making Experience with SAP, financial planning tools, and data visualization platforms (experience with GFP, JET, or Tableau is advantageous) Effective collaboration skills with the ability to work independently, take initiative, and build trusted partnerships across all organizational levels A proactive and structured mindset with excellent attention to detail while maintaining strategic overview Professional fluency in English; Danish language skills are beneficial given the local stakeholder landscape
