Join JPMorgan Chase's Product & Technology Finance team and drive innovative change by helping to prioritize and optimize technology capacity and to focus on the most important and impactful initiatives that will advance the Consumer Bank strategy.
As a Senior Associate in the Consumer Bank Product and Technology Finance team, you will partner with the Product Owners and Technology Leads to understand the priorities of the business and the capacity Technology has available to work on each strategic initiative. To achieve these priorities, you will assist with assessing the costs and benefits of the initiatives to support the prioritization process and help make tradeoff decisions to ensure we are using available technology capacity efficiently. As new priorities develop or as estimated time required for existing initiatives evolve, you will assist with reprioritizing the book of work and keeping leadership informed of the impact it will have on future years’ returns.
Job responsibilities
Engage closely with Consumer Bank Product and Technology partners to drive investments and strategic decision making that achieve business / client resultsCreate consolidated reporting, build strong executive-level presentations, and develop a meaningful meeting schedule to communicate financial impact of the constantly evolving technology investment book of work to key stakeholdersDrive disciplined performance management through the tracking and assessment of key performance indicators and the budgeting / forecasting processProvide transparency around the achievement of long term product and platform goals and inform budget allocation decisionsAlign with product teams to ensure coordinated processes for change in roadmap timing, requests for acceleration of initiatives, coordination of trade off decisions, and transparency of backlogRequired qualifications, capabilities and skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or other related area4+ years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, Financial Analysis, Business Management or an analytical backgroundAbility & desire to develop strong working relationships with cross-functional partnersCreativity, curiosity, and ambition to build out completely new reporting & processes including comfort with and excitement towards not following an existing play bookProven ability to take initiative and achieve resultsAbility to influence and advise senior managementStrong presentation skills and comfortable presenting data to senior leadership & hosting meetings independentlyStrong analytical, problem solving and planning skillsExcellent written and oral communication skillsExperienced user of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and PitchPro+ with the ability to build decks & prepare regular reporting for senior leadersAdditional Information
