KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 1.Provides timely and accurate financial data for the Finance Director and Senior Financial Analyst 2.Manages Operating and Maintenance budget, and General and Administration budget, Mandatory Equipment charges and project costs 3.Oversees and verifies Operations and Maintenance and project information entered into the financial systems 4.Organizes, updates and maintains records management 5.responds to budget and forecasting enquiries 6.analyses financial data and prepares reports on Accounts receivable and payables 7.processing and creating journal vouchers for O&M and projects 8.Reconciliation of all bank accounts 9.collects and prepares information to be used in the annual operating budgets 10.prepares month end accounts, General ledger reconciliations and year end working papers 11.Verifies and updates all monthly accruals and energy reports 12.conducts special projects and analyses as assigned 13.exchanges information to Internal and external clients provides direction on accounting procedures 14.provides training to internal and external clients on account coding, fund accounting and policies and procedures 15.resolves non - generic policy issues 16.recommends changes or enhancements to database integrity for Corporate systems The successful candidate will be required to attain and maintain a valid and active RCMP Enhanced Security Clearance (ERSC).
