This role is based in Bangalore, India, and sits within the Legal Entity Accounting team. Legal Entity Accounting Finance Analyst is responsible for managing relationships and operations with external stakeholders for Audit and Statutory Financial Statement processes. This position provides broad exposure across the J&J Finance organization and our external providers while supporting continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen processes, controls and reporting accuracy. **Key Responsibilities** **Core responsibilities include:** + Maintain relationships with external auditors to support the full audit and statutory reporting process. + Partner with statutory accountants and tax advisors to support preparation of statutory financial statements and corporate tax return filings. + Plan audit and SFS activities and coordinate creation and assignment of PBC lists. + Serve as a subject‑matter expert on the end‑to‑end audit process, including planning and stakeholder engagement. + Drive continuous improvement across audit and statutory processes, identifying and implementing automation and standardization opportunities. + Collect, validate, and manage data for all areas within the audit and statutory scope. + Prepare and maintain LEA dashboards and trackers, balancing operational requirements with internal stakeholder needs. + Coordinate Statutory Ambassadors network, acting as the primary contact for ambassadors across process areas. + Coordinating audit communications, facilitate communications between Deloitte, local PwC, and J&J teams. + Provide Issue resolution between Deloitte, local PwC, and J&J via regular audit progress updates to the business and FDs. **Job Requirements** **Qualifications:** + 3 - 8 years of relevant financial experience + Any accounting or audit qualifications a plus **Languages:** + Fluent English (written and spoken) + Additional languages a plus **Experience Required:** + Previous job experience in one of the Big 4 companies or another audit firm preferred + Knowledge of IFRS and Tax + Experience with GAAP conversions and related agenda **Skills & Competencies:** + Ability to coordinate sophisticated processes involving multiple stakeholders + Analytical skills + Sense of urgency & prioritization + Strong verbal and written communication skills + Strong interpersonal, supervisory and customer service skills required + Proven business partnering skills + Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, meet deadlines and be able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment, fostering same approach with the team + Travel as per Business need Within the J&J Leadership skills definition following skills and competencies should be shown in this role: + Results & Performance Driven:Takes personal responsibility for delivering results + Eagerly accepts stretch goals + Ability to coordinate tasks and orchestrate different teams for supporting audits + Sense of Urgency:Quickly assimilates and digests information + Demonstrates a clear focus for action on priorities + Critical Thinking:Demonstrates understanding of Johnson & Johnson’s and the local operating company’s strategy and business model.
