ResponsibilitiesThis role will coordinate with external accountants, operations team, and asset management requirements to perform the day-to-day back-office finance and administrative function and be responsible for the financial reporting of PBSA assets in Barcelona. The successful candidate will:
Work based in Barcelona and report to the Iberia finance teamWork with external accountants ensuring that the finance system links to the property booking systemsOversee business process providers and be the link with the onsite operations teamCollaborate with the financial reporting process of the asset andLiaise with the Operations team in providing incisive information on business performance, identifying key issues and trends to enable business decisions to be made.Gather the required information and collaborate to ensure that all the tax reporting (VAT and Corporation tax) and company reporting requirements are metAssist with the annual auditManage the accounts payable and accounts receivable processKeep relationships with all main counterparties including administrators and tax advisors, payroll consultants, management companies in charge of the investment funds owning the building Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be:
An experienced administrative/accountant with 3-4 years of experience (previous experience in PBSA/Hotels will be valued)Experienced in accounts payable and accounts receivable processCustomer orientated with proven ability to develop close working relationshipsEnthusiastic and motivated team player with the ability to plan and execute tasksFlexible and able to work to tight deadlinesKnowledgeable of Microsoft ExcelAble to speak and write in English and Spanish Closing
