We are seeking Filling Pharmacy Technicians for an onsite position in Irving. These roles are integral to the dispensing team, focusing on the fulfillment of prescriptions with precision and efficiency. Responsibilities
Demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to work.Maintain strong attention to detail.Prioritize multiple tasks throughout the day to ensure service level adherence.Under supervision of a pharmacist, pull and fill patient prescriptions.Accurately prepare medications for verification and delivery.Package medications accurately and ensure all required paperwork is provided.Maintain accurate and complete patient records.Keep a neat and clean workstation, including all necessary equipment for prescription fulfillment.Assist in inventory stocking and other duties to ensure patient care.Follow all applicable government regulations, including HIPAA and compliance regulations.Essential Skills
Pharmacy technician certification.1 year of retail or mail order pharmacy experience.High school graduate or equivalent.Full TSBP certification.Ability to stand, walk, sit, and reach outward frequently.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Preferred 1-3 years of experience in a pharmacy technician role.Experience in retail pharmacy is a plus.Proficiency in data entry and inventory management.Work Environment
This is an onsite role located in Irving, TX, USA, within a closed-door pharmacy fulfillment department. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, between 7 am and 7 pm, with flexibility required for training and busier seasons. The typical shift will be 8 am to 5 pm or 9 am to 6 pm, not exceeding eight hours. The environment requires the ability to push/pull and lift/carry up to 15 lbs. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
